MY 8 year old very much liked this. Her favorite part of course was the magic eight ball and she played with that outside of playing the game more than anything. But the game itself was very cute as well. She was able to understand it easily enough and we had fun as a whole family.

The board game is beautifully made. All the pieces are very sturdy and it is beautiful to look at. Unfortunately, it was a difficult game to play with my 7 year old. Maybe when he gets older he might be more interested in it but the instructions were even confusing to us. The board also folds in a way that makes it difficult for it to lay flat. I wouldn't recommend this game for a 7 year old.
