My kids have gotten in to the resurgence of Mario games and really enjoy the Maro Kart series. When they saw this, they had to have it since they're also really into Hot Wheels. It is completely the best of both worlds!

This particular set of Hot Wheels Mario Kart vehicles includes: Yoshi in the Mach-8 kart; Princess Peach in the Sports Coupe; Mario in the Sneeker (yes, it really looks like a shoe! or sneaker, thus the name); and Orange Shy Guy (first appearance!) in the Standard Kart. Like the video game, each kart features a logo that coordinates with its driver: Yoshi's Egg; a Princess crown; a Super Star for Mario (which usually is the iconic "M", but the Super Star works here, too); and a Shy-Guy mask. All four karts are straight out of the game, so it's fun to see a real-world representation of the video-game counterparts.
The karts themselves are 1:64 scale Hot Wheels, so they will work on regular Hot Wheels track (the OG orange track); however, since the drivers generally make them taller than normal Hot Wheels cars, there might be height-clearance issues with some playsets (e.g. the spiral ramp of the Super Ultimate Garage). And they do work well on track -- very fast because of the additional weight of the drivers. They feature nice wheels with good rolling resistance. Even better to use them on MarioKart specific tracks!

Hot Wheels Mario Kart Die-cast 4-Pack is a cute collection of race cars for all fans and all ages of Mario. The characters of MarioKart consist of Mario, Princess Peach, Shyguy, and Yoshi. They are fun to play and fun to race against. Our little ones favorite to play with is the Mario in a sneaker car racer.

We received these and my 5 yr old loves them! He was so excited to open & play with them. We live playing Mario on Nintendo & now he can race around the house! I love how sturdy the cars are and how smoothly they drive!
