What a perfect toy for a dinosaur and train loving kid. The entire set builds anticipation for what is inside with a mystery train and cargo.
My 4 year old son started with putting the yellow colored train in water to reveal Thomas who is adorned with a dino skeleton on each side. Thomas is brightly colored and not only did we get to do the color reveal, but he also changed colors with hot and cold water.
Once Thomas was revealed, we opened the mystery cargo to reveal 2 dinosaur skeletons with cargo cars for Thomas to pull.
This set works well independently or with with other sets. It comes with a container to store the cargo and can also be used for changing Thomas's color.
My son loved it and keeps going back to it.

My kiddo loves any kind of "reveal" product and this one is great. He really liked how the train is a mystery until you reveal it. It was easy and straightforward. Really great for any Thomas the Train lover in your life. We also have a big collection of the mini trains so it's great that it goes with this.
