What is the Hot Wheels Licence promotion?
The Hot Wheels Licence promotion lets fans create their very own personalised
Hot Wheels Licence.
To take part, customers must first complete a Hot Wheels Collector Poster by collecting 10 Hot Wheels diecast cars and submit the completed poster for verification.
Once verified, customers can enter their details to receive:
- A digital, printable Hot Wheels Licence
- A physical personalised
licence delivered to their home around 2-3 weeks later
How do I take part?
To participate, please follow these steps:
1. Collect 10 Hot Wheels diecast cars
2. Complete your Hot Wheels Collector Poster
3. Submit your completed poster for verification
4. Once approved, fill in your personal details to create your licence
Your digital licence will be available immediately via email after completing the final step.
Should I use my child's details for shipping?
No, please ensure all shipping and marketing information provided belongs to you, the parent. You should only use your child's name as the first name or nickname that appears on their licence.
Why do I need to submit my Collector Poster for verification?
Poster verification helps us confirm that the Collector Poster has been completed correctly before issuing a personalised Hot Wheels Licence.
When will I receive my licence?
Once your Collector Poster has been successfully verified and you have submitted your personal details, your digital, printable licence will be sent to you via email within 5-10 minutes. Be sure to check your spam folder and verify your email address.
Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery of your physical licence from the date your details are submitted.
Delivery times may vary depending on location and postal services.
I haven’t received my physical licence yet — what should I do?
If it has been more than 3 weeks since you submitted your details:
- Please allow a few additional days for postal delays
- If your licence hasn’t arrived after 30 days, contact customer support with your verification confirmation details
Terms & Conditions
1.
Instructions on how to claim and the reward form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this offer is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in
conjunction with any other offer.
2.
Claims are only open to Australian and New Zealand residents. Claimants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to claim and further, the parent/guardian of the claimant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by
the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor submitting a claim in this Offer.
3. Employees of the Promoter and agencies associated with this Offer are ineligible to claim.

Offer commences on 12/01/2026 and final claims close at 11:59pm AEDT on 31/03/2026 or once five hundred (500) valid claims have been received, whichever is first (“Offer Period”).

To submit a claim for a reward, individuals must complete all of the following steps during the Offer Period and while rewards remain available:
a) Go to https://shop.mattel.com.au/products/hot-wheels-drivers-licence (“Website”)
and download the official colouring-in claim form or collect one from participating stores.
b) Complete the form in full.
c) Return to the Website, follow the prompts to upload the form, and provide the required details, including name (to appear on the licence), email address, and residential address.
d) Confirm and submit the completed claim form through the Website.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and claimant’s (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the claim process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Offer. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

Incomplete or indecipherable claims will be deemed invalid.

Only one (1) claim is permitted per person. Offer is strictly limited to the first five hundred (500) valid claims received.
9.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.
10.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11.
The first five hundred (500) valid claims received will each be awarded a personalised Hot Wheels licence (both a digital download and a physical copy) valued at $10. Digital download will be sent via email. Physical licences will be sent to successful claimant’s residential address as listed on their claim form.
12.
If for any reason a claimant does not take a reward by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the reward will be forfeited.
13.
If any reward is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the reward with a reward to the equal value and/or specification.
14.
Rewards are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
15.
Claimants agree that they are fully responsible for any materials they submit via the Offer including but not limited to comments, recordings and images (“Content”). Claimants warrant and agree that:
(a)
they will not submit any Content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that the Promoter may deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children aged under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for publication; and
(b)
their Content shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any
person or entity.

Claimants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image
and/or voice in the event they are a successful claimant (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Offer (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

If this Offer is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Offer, as appropriate.
18.
Any cost associated with accessing the Website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
19.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees
as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia or any statutory consumer guarantees as provided under consumer protection laws in New Zealand (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and
agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Offer.
20.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not
responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in reward value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (f) use of the reward.
21.
The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the Offer and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and reward suppliers. Participation in this Offer is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at www.mattel.com/en-us. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning claimant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how
claimants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how claimants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All claims become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter may disclose claimant’s personal information overseas, see the Promoter’s Privacy Policy for more details.
